SGG on the legacy of the Ottawa process and the future of Canadian foreign policy

SGG President Mark Sedra gave a presentation titled, “The Future of Canadian Engagement in Fragile and Conflict-Affected States: Asserting a Thought Leadership Role” at a conference on “The Ottawa Process Twenty Years Later: The Landmine Treaty, Human Security, and Canada in the Twenty-First Century.” Held on October 27-28 in Toronto, Canada and organized by the Canadian International Council (CIC) and the Bill Graham Centre for Contemporary International History at the University of Toronto, the two-day conference assembled representatives from government, civil society, and academia to discuss the legacy of the Ottawa process and the future of Canadian foreign policy.
