The Security Governance Group has launched a large-scale 3-year program to help develop a sustainable Afghan training and curriculum development capacity in the area of trafficking in persons. The SGG will provide close mentoring, specialized expertise, training, and feedback to Afghan officials, who will in turn devise a locally-owned curriculum. In addition, the project team will work with its Afghan partners to develop a sustainable knowledge base and infrastructure to manage the delivery of training courses in the future. The project is funded by the United States Department of State’s Office to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons (J/TIP).
