SGG Supports OSCE Course on Identification of Foreign Terrorists Fighters

Sep 7, 2016 | Project Update

The Security Governance Group supported a seven-day course, with the OSCE’s Border Security and Management Unit, for border security and management officers and counter-terrorism experts from participating States and Partners for Co-operation countries on the identification of foreign terrorist fighters. The one-week course is the second stage of a multi-phase OSCE project to establish the first ever OSCE multi-national and multi-agency mobile training team for the identification of FTF at the borders. This course built curriculum and performed exercises to help border officials in identifying potential foreign terrorist fighters. Additional information can be found on the OSCE website.
