Careers at SGG
Thank you for your interest in joining the Security Governance Group. In this space, we will post any staff positions and consulting opportunities that arise.
Full-Time and Consulting Positions
While there are currently no available staff positions, we are always looking to add talented professionals to our network. Please consider applying for our expert roster. Members of our roster will be approached first with all research and consulting opportunities. All applications will be kept in strict confidence.
The Security Governance Group manages a competitive internship program to give young international affairs professionals the opportunity to gain experience in the field while contributing to the work of the SGG. We make a commitment to provide an environment where interns can expand their skills in research, communications and project management.
We expect interns to contribute 10 hours per week over a four-month period, performed remotely or at the SGG headquarters. Interns will be involved in a range of different activities, including:
- Undertaking research;
- Assisting in the preparation of funding proposals;
- Copy editing documents, including reports, proposals and website content;
- Assisting staff with project operations;
- Supporting the organization of events, workshops and conferences; and
- Other duties as required by the staff to support the organization’s work.
Each intern is matched to one SGG staff member, who will serve as a mentor throughout the program.
Calls for applicants will be listed on the SGG website in the careers section, and cross-posted to relevant international affairs job boards.
